At Strategy One we understand the importance of protecting the personal information you supply us. We will not utilise your information for any purpose other than placing you in employment. All information no longer required by Strategy One will be destroyed and all data held within computer files is password protected.
Your Personal Information
We gather your personal information for the purpose of assisting you to find employment.
The type of information we are likely to collect includes, contact details, drivers or machinery licences, references, opinions regarding your work experience or performance, salary, qualifications and results of occupational or psychological tests. Collection of information including health issues, union membership, criminal records etc. may be necessary to assist in placing you with some employers. Once successful in obtaining employment your information becomes part of our employment records or that of our clients.
How do we collect Information
The majority of information collected comes directly from yourself in the form of:
- the application form or other forms you complete.
- via telephone conversations with you
- your Resume
We may also receive information from other parties such as:
- by contacting your referees and former employers
- From our clients with which you may work as a casual contracting employee
- Labour Hire Companies.
If you choose not to provide Strategy One with information that is requested, we may not be able to assist you with the service you have requested.
To whom we will disclose your information?
Your personal information may be disclosed to:
- Potential Employers
- Insurers
- Government Bodies or others as required by law
- Our contractors and suppliers
- Your referees, former employers, work colleagues, labour hire agencies
Information is disclosed for the purpose of placing you in permanent, contract or casual employment or to assist with employment related issues such as work cover, superannuation and taxation.
Access to your Information
You have the right to access your personal records subject to some exclusions covered by law. All requests for information must be placed in writing and may be subject to a fee being paid for the retrieval of such information. Any corrections of information held will be undertaken providing you can establish that the information held is incorrect or incomplete.
