Job Description

An experienced Customer Service Officer is required to join a very well established industrial parts company.

Duties include but not limited to -

  • Assist in the completion of all daily tasks in relation to customer orders and enquiries
  • Contribute to the overall progression of the Customer Service Team by being innovative and positive. Providing ideas and resolutions to problems faced.
  • Processing of Sales Orders / Credit notes
  • Action emails and phone calls based on priority in a timely manner
  • Creation of Quotations
  • Processing of customer orders to meet Warehouse & Production requirements with correct details including Pricing, ETA requirements, ITP, Freight and other order specific details
  • Providing Order confirmations with updates in relation to pricing, inventory availability and despatch timing
  • Provide updates to sales team as required
  • Creation and updates of Bills of Materials to achieve customer requirements
  • Escalation to Inventory team when back-orders arise to clarify availability
  • Management of customer specific data in relation to item codes

Skills required -

  • Highly enthusiastic towards providing excellent customer service with a friendly communication style
  • High energy personality with a positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to help out fellow team members
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Good understanding of mathematics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including being able to interact confidently, clearly and articulately at all levels, and accurately interpret information
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with high levels of emotional intelligence, able to engage stakeholders, influence positively and challenge in a respectful and considered manner
  • Confident, informed decision-making skills
