We are on the look out for Machine Operators for our client based in Pinkenba. If you have experience in manufacturing, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety, we'd love to hear from you!

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Operating Shear Line, Bar cutting or coil machines
• Assisting with machine maintenance
• Following all health, safety and quality management requirements
• Loading and handling of raw materials
• Conducting pre-start checks on all equipment to ensure safety and quality standards are met
• Manual handling of sheet metal and metal posts
• Use of overhead gantry crane to move productions

To be considered for this role we are requiring candidates to have the following:

• You MUST have full working rights
• Forklift licence (preferable)
• Experience using overhead cranes (preferable)
• Previous experience in a steel manufacturing environment (preferable)
• Understanding of workplace safety standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and solve problems
• Ability to understand and work with machines and tools
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude
• Car and Licence
• MUST be reliable
• Physically fit
• Available to start ASAP!
